....so it's been a long time since i actually updated or created anything. my most recent upload is a peice i've been working on and off for damn near a year now. I never feel like my pieces are finished, so this one is no different. I somewhat like some things about it, but it's still not what i wanted to make exactly. I wanted to try a sci fi piece because i never have, but i wanted something more then planets and space, i made that in like 2 sec, and wasn't satisfied. Then i found this amazing stock model and was inspired to do a tentacle like women from space, however i still don't have all included that i wanted to. Oh well.

On another note, i'mm still livin on my own, only in a much nicer apartment now. I'm training with my supervisor at work, so i'm upgrading in my job, even though i wish i had a more creative job, oh well i should just be glad to have a job that i can live off of. So all in all i'm doing well. I need to keep creating though, so hopefully i will keep uploading new stuff, even if i dont feel like my art is any good, it does seem to do something for me, so i suppose i will continue to share here with you as long as there are people willing to look.
on that note, thank you to all who have commented on my work, and to all those who create and share and are so open here. I have learned a lot of technique and am regularly inspired while looking through pieces here on da.

Holy Fuck Its a new decade,
The last time i journaled here was 6 years ago. This site is all amp'd the fuck up. I have a fb and a behance now. This is crazy seeing my roots all grown up. lol took me like an hour to set up my page. Some of my worst art is on this site but some of the best in my favorites. I love looking for inspiration here. Finding new artists and following their social medias. The first tutorial I used in Photoshop I found on this site. Well, I guess I'm back.
it's been a 'grip'
So i said that, 'it's been a grip" to a coworker the other day and she about lost it, saying that she hasn't heard that in a long time and that there's a reason it must have died out. I argued that i was gonna try to bring it back cause i think it's a sillier statement then what all the kids use now a day. So here it goes:
It's been a grip since I done anything artsy; photography, photomanipulation, sketched, shit even just imagined anything. I really hope that this isnt what it feels like to grow up, to outgrow, or to become of adulthood. it's sad to think that i have gone through so much Bullshit this past year and a half and havn't expre

Has anyone noticed a decline in everything on here? It seems to me that most the people i watch aren't really posting anything on here anymore. that makes me sad.

What other sites do you use that I can join for free and still post high res images to share and continue sharing with great artist like what this site used to be?
I am starting to think about deleting my account on here but i need to know what most people use so that i don't completly shut down, i'm just sick of having a super full inbox when 80 % of the shit is exactly that.......like shit that should just be in FB.
